Holly Dubois, BA

Program Coordinator & Eating disorder recovery Coach

More about Holly

Welcome

Hi, I’m Holly, and I’m so glad you’re here.

At Recover Newport Beach, I serve as both the Program Coordinator and a Group Facilitator. I’m passionate about helping people heal from eating disorders and trauma—because I’ve walked this path myself.

My Personal Connection

I’ve experienced the challenges of recovery firsthand. I understand the fear, confusion, and courage it takes to begin healing. And I also know the joy, freedom, and peace that come when you move forward with support.

Because of this, I show up for my clients with empathy, compassion, and a judgment-free space. I believe that healing is possible—and you don’t have to do it alone.

My Education and Experience

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento, and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology at Vanguard University of Southern California. My goal is to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

For the past three years, I’ve worked in eating disorder treatment at all levels of care—from residential to outpatient programs. I’ve served as both a Group Facilitator and an Eating Disorder Technician, offering support through each stage of recovery.

My Approach as an Eating Disorder Recovery Coach

Whether I’m helping with admissions or leading groups, my approach is always rooted in kindness and clarity. I focus on:

  • Listening deeply

  • Meeting clients where they are

  • Encouraging growth with care and patience

Recovery is not linear, and it doesn’t need to be perfect. But with the right support, it can be powerful, life-changing, and deeply worth it.

Life Beyond Work

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new coffee shops, relaxing at the beach, and spending time in nature. I also cherish moments with my nephews, who always bring joy to my day

"Healing is not just about recovering—it's about rediscovering the freedom and joy that has always been within you."
